Q. Is there a CD of the music from 'Kristina från Duvemåla'?
There are two versions of the music available on CD. The first is the
3-CD Box Set - Den Kompletta Utgåvan which purports to be the complete score.
In fact, there are a few short pieces of incidental music that are not included.
However, to balance things slightly, it should be noted that there is a song (Kamfer
Och Lavendel) on the CD set which was dropped from later performances of the
show.
The box set comes with a booklet containing all the lyrics and quite a few
pictures from the original production.
In addition to the 3-CD set is a 'Highlights' package on one CD, called '16
Favoriter' featuring 16 selections from the 3CD Box Set, including the single
release version of 'Guldet blev till sand' by Peter Jöback which differs
slightly from the box set version.

Q. When did 'Kristina från Duvemåla' originally open?
The show's premiere was at the Malmö Musikteater on October 7, 1995.
Q. Where can I buy the English version on CD?
There will be a
concert cast recording made in September 2009 at Carnegie Hall in New York
when Kristina (as it will be known outside of Sweden) gets its English premiere.
Q. When will the show open on Broadway?
Now, isn't that the question we'd all like an answer to?! The New
York workshop cast
were told that rehearsals would start in late 2007, with a hoped-for opening in
Minneapolis in the autumn and a transfer to Broadway in spring 2008.
Obviously this didn't happen but with the Kristina concerts at Carnegie Hall
and an English cast album due, the chances of it opening on Broadway as a
fully-fledged stage show are better than ever...but it's fair to say, probably a
few years away yet.
Q. Is there a DVD of 'Kristina från Duvemåla'?
There is no DVD of the show, which isn't to say that it wasn't filmed!
The show was filmed for archival purposes.
