Frida and Agnetha attending Mamma Mia!

A delve back into my video archives, uncovers these two clips I was fortunate to take - segued together here for the first time.

The first clip features Frida joining Benny and Björn on the stage at the Prince Edward Theatre, London on the night of the show's 5th anniversary (April 6, 2004) and the second one is Agnetha's entrance to Cirkus for the premiere of Mamma Mia! på Svenska (February 12, 2005). Of course, we saw her inside the theatre as well, but this is the extent of my video of her on the night.

I hope you enjoy seeing these clips as much as I have enjoyed seeing them again and putting them together...and publishing them on icethesite for the first time.

I'd also like to say a big 'Hello' to all those people that I should see more often, who shared those two special evenings with me - you know who you are - thinking of you also!

Benny Anderssons Orkester - Live at Globen (video from the archives)

With no Benny Anderssons Orkester tour this year (although there has been a hint of a new album in the works), I've found myself playing the BAO på turné live album a lot over the weekend.

Hearing BAO live reminded me that I have some video on the site, taken at Globen, Stockholm back in October 2007, which was incorporated into a story about BAO's 2009 Swedish tour dates published in December 2008.

I thought I'd dig it out of the archives to brighten up the start of my working week and share it in anticipation of more BAO music and hopefully more concerts in the not too far distant future. Enjoy!

ABBA Plaza's ABBA Site of the year award has now gone to icethesite two years in a row! I'm really glad so many people enjoy and get value out of what I do.

Special mention must also be made to each and every one of the ABBA website owners who help keep the ABBA legacy alive and energetically kicking. There are certainly plenty of sites out there that I frequently visit in order to get my ABBA-fix and without all of us, the internet would not be such a rich and varied place for ABBA fans to visit.

To my mind, we all deserve an award!
